Forum visits Sacramento’s Little Saigon

Forum – Sacramento’s Digital Town Square headed south this week to learn more about one of the City’s newest “neighborhoods”: Little Saigon.
Patrick and Isaac were joined by regular Pod Squad member Cindy Baker in a conversation with Mai Nguyen and Jim Chong of the Greater Sacramento Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce (GSVACC). The GSVACC is largely responsible for spearheading the effort to give the southern portion of Stockton Boulevard its unique identity and creating an Asian American hub, culturally and economically, in our City.
Learn how they are transforming this area, what it means to this region, and where they are going. It’s about monuments, a time capsule, parades, great restaurants and businesses, and thriving nightlife in the future. But most of all, it’s about the people.
